The school occupies two sites, one is located at Southwell Street on the Bristol campus and is the focus for preclinical and basic science teaching.

The second site is the Department of Clinical Veterinary Science at Langford House. This site is the base for clinical teaching and welfare research. Animal hospitals and first opinion veterinary practices also operate from here.

The breadth of the school's teaching and research interests enables it to offer a range of veterinary related degree courses, in addition to the degree in Veterinary Science.

Related degree courses include:
Veterinary Nursing and Practice Administration
Anatomical Science with Veterinary Anatomy
Animal Behaviour and Welfare
Veterinary Pathogenesis.

An MSc in Meat Science and Technology is also available. Teaching is provided by departments in the Schools of Medicine and Biological Sciences in Bristol, as well as the Department of Clinical Veterinary Science at Langford.

Bristol welcomes applications from suitably qualified sixth formers, graduates, mature and overseas students. Opportunities are also available for studying higher degrees by research.
